On last night’s Daily Show, JJ Abrams and Jon Stewart discussed, among other things, their affection for the Twilight Zone. As we all know, Abrams’ favorite episode is “Walking Distance,” covered in episode six of our podcast.

A long time ago a video game was released on Nintendo GameCube called Eternal Darkness. Eternal Darkness was unique in that it was a survival horror game with Lovecraftian themes. But it was most known for its “sanity effects,” in which the game would play tricks on the player; anything from rooms being upside down, to threatening to format your memory card.
This week, the creators of the original game have announced a spiritual successor, Shadow of the Eternals, but they need help funding it. If you were familiar with the original, or just think it sounds cool, please consider pledging.
